Échanges plasmatiques chroniques : indications et résultats au cours des neuropathies périphériques et des maladies systémiques

Long term plasmapheresis was investigated in 38 pateints failing with conventional therapy. Cryoglobulinemias, peripheral neuropathies and monoclonal gammathies were the most frequent underlying diseases. Improvement was observed in 65,8 % cases. Solely minor side-effects were encountered. The risk/benefit equation for such a therapy was excellent.
