Report Floating Population Health Status,Health Service Needs and Utilization Survey in Cangzhou city

Objective To understand the health service demand and utilization among the floating population in Cangzhou.Method 389 floating population were Investigated with a questionnaire and interview.Results The awareness rate about healthy knowledge among the floating population was 56.4%,reproductive health service rate was 5.1% in one year and conventional physical exam rate was 27.8%,prevalence rate in two weeks was 39.1% and 88.7% in one year,treatment-seeking was 83.8%,hospitalization rate was 1.5%,medical care coverage was 43.7%.Health service demand and utilization among floating population were affected by age,marital status,income level,standard of culture,medical care.Conclusions Carried out various forms health knowledge propaganda to the youth workers and enhance the awareness rate of healthy knowledge and health consciousness,changed unhealth behavior.Taked the floating population as the service target key,guide person maked use of community health service,improve the coverage of medical insurance,establish medical safeguard system which suited to floating population.
