Influence of Nursing Intervention on Preoperative Anxiety of Carcinoma of the Tongue Patients

Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on preoperative anxiety of patients with tongue carcinoma undergoing elective surgery.Methods 64 patients undergoing combined radical operation of tongue and neck were randomly divided into 2 groups.32 patients in one group used conventional measures and the other used systematic nursing intervention.After intervention,preoperative anxiety of the test day was evaluated and a comparative analysis was made.Results The preoperative anxiety scores of intervention group were(33.62 ±7.72) compared with the control group scores(38.41 ± 6.35),and the difference was statistically significant(P 0.01).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on the psychological features of patients with tongue carcinoma can reduce the preoperative anxiety of patients with tongue carcinoma undergoing elective surgery.
