Captopril influences an early process of atherosclerosis using an in vitro model

2000
Monocyte interactions with endothelial cells are playing an important role during the early process of atherosclerosis. The angiotensin Converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor Captopril has been shown to influence platelet adhesion to endothelial cells. The aim of the current study was to investigate if Captopril can also influence leukocyte migration.
