Statistical analysis on the sterilizing effect of 1 635 pieces of medical articles.

[Objective] To know the differences of the sterilizing quality of each year in urban and rural medical institutions in a place.[Methods] According to "the sterilizing technological specification" and "hospital sterilizing hygienic stan-dard"(GB15982-1995),the sterilizing quality of indoor air,surface of the articles,being used disinfection and disposable medical supplies in each medical institution in a place from 2004 to 2008 were supervised and monitored.[Results] The total qualified rate of sterilizing effect in all medical institutions was 86.61%,and the qualified rate of county hospitals,rural hospitals,individual clinics were 91.51%,87.81%,82.21%,respectively.In all kinds of monitoring samples,the highest qualified rate was in county hospitals,then in rural hospitals,and the lowest was in individual clinics.[Conclusion] There are obvious differences in sterilizing effects between different medical institutions.In future,it should strengthen sterilizing quality management and supervision in each unit.
