The relativity study between abnormal serum markers of hepatitis B and HBV-DNA

2017
Objective To investigate the correlation between HBV abnormal serum markers and HBV-DNA levels. Methods The 94 cases of chronic hepatitis patients were divided in 4 groups based on the results of serological tests. The serum markers and HBV-DNA of the patients were detected by CLIA and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR, respectively. Results In group A, with the coexistence of HBsAg and HBsAb, the positive rate of HBV-DNA was 96.9% (31/32). In group B, with the coexistence of HBeAg and HBeAb, the positive rate of HBV-DNA was 90.0% (18/20). There were no statistical significance in HBV-DNA positive rate between group A and B (x2=2.95, P>0.05). In group C, with HBsAg negative and HBeAg positive, the positive rate of HBV-DNA was 64.3% (9/14). There were statistically significant difference in HBV-DNA positive rates between group C and A, B (x2=32.56 and 23.41, P<0.05). Conclusions There were different levels HBV-DNA in different groups. The positive correlation between HBeAg and HBV-DNA existed. Key words: Hepatitis B serum markers; HBV-DNA load; Fluorescence quantitative PCR
