Women’s Ultrasound

2015
Women’s imaging is a subspecialty area of radiology devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases that are unique to women. Women’s imaging uses all imaging modalities to evaluate gynecologic and obstetrical conditions and breast health and contributes to urologic evaluations and overall health. Discussions about some of these modalities and application are further addressed in specific chapters on breast imaging and women’s health interventional procedures.
