Problems of Learning and Memory: Comparison of Performances Before and After Surgical Therapy

Since 1981, our group has investigated drug-resistant patients who had frequent mesiobasal limbic seizures. These patients underwent a battery of neuropsychological tests after surgery for seizure control and, since 1983, both before and after the intervention. In this paper we compare the learning and memory performance of 17 patients before and after surgery.
