Frequência de atividade física, consumo alimentar e estado nutricional de servidores públicos

The present study aimed to analyze the frequency of physical activity, food consumption and nutritional level of public servants. The sample consisted of 15 public servants, aged between 18 and 60 years, of both sexes. Body weight (kg), height (m) and subsequent BMI (kg / m2) were measured. The following circumferences were measured in cm: abdominal and hip. The index of relationship between waist and hip circumference (waist circumference / hip circumference) was obtained. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics with a significance level of p <0.05. It was observed consumption of fried foods weekly, sweets and sugars daily. Alcohol weekly. Average daily intake of eight glasses of water, juices and sodas. Regarding physical activity: LIGHT: 5 people train 4 times / week, 3 people train 5 times / week, 2 people train 2 times / week. And only 2 train seven times a week. In these, average of 1 hour / day. Only 2 people train more than two hours / day. No sample reported MODERATE activity. Body composition at the beginning of the analysis was verified that only 01 sample (7.14%) had normal BMI. 40% (n = 6) were overweight and increased waist-to-hip ratio. 42.85% (n = 6) with BMI Obesity Grade I. 7.14% (n = 1) had Obesity Grade II. Sampling is at risk because they still have BMI compatible with Overweight / Obesity. It is recommended a nutritional intervention program in these individuals, regular and moderate physical activities to improve the anthropometric profile.
