Unusual Broad Ligament Tumor - Ancient Schwannoma: A Case Report and Review of Literature

Schwannomas (neurilemmomas) are benign, slow growing encapsulated tumors of nerve sheath origin. They are rarely found in the pelvis. Schwannoma with pronounced degenerative change is called ancient schwannoma. This rare variant of schwannoma is usually a deeply situated mass of long duration. We present a case report with review of literature.
