: Pulmonary complications of acute myelogenous leukemia are attributed to infection, hemorrhage, or toxicity from chemotherapeutic agents. Rarely, damaged leukemic blast cells in lung parenchyma result in chest x-ray abnormalities and respiratory symptoms.
