An Analysis of IoT And Big Data For Smart City Development

2020
The rapid growth in population demands provision of services and infrastructure. The request for sensors, actuators, smartphones etc. havr increased which in turn provides a good business potential towards Internet of Things (IoT). IoT devices are able to communicate and interconnect with each other over the internet. This research paper reviews the combined IoT based infrastructure for urbanization and smart city development by using and analyzing big data. This paper considers a system which consists of smart home sensors, smart car parking sensors, surveillance objects etc. The proposed work presents the solution to overcome the challenges of integrating IoT services and big data aimed at decision making of smart city. In existing system, a four-tier system was proposed which includes- Bottom tier: responsible for collections and data generations and also for IoT resources. Intermediate tier-1: responsible for communication between embedded devices. Intermediate tier-2: liable for information the executives and handling utilizing Hadoop system. Top tier: liable for result generation, use, and utilizations of information investigation. Along these lines, this investigation can help the scientists for the future advancement of tech-savvy city with regards to enormous information.
