A related forming method for spherical aluminium oxide through an oil-water column process is characterized by comprising: adding pseudo-boehmite into an alginate solution, stirring to form an alginic acid-pseudo-boehmite suspension; dropwise adding the suspension into an oil-water column composed of an upper-layer oil phase and a lower-layer multivalent metal cation salt solution phase to form a composite spherical gel particle; and taking out the gel particle, performing acid processing, and then drying and roasting to obtain the spherical aluminium oxide product. The method has the advantages of fast forming speed, high yield, large product strength, good sphericity degree, no pollution in the preparation process, and the like. Also, the operation steps are simple and practicable, and the method is easy for industrialized production.
