Factors affecting the gates' measurement of glomerular filtration rate

The technical factors that affect the Gates' GFR measurement are 1) net syringe counts, 2) kidney depth, and 3) corrected kidney counts. These factors are investigated, and the extent of their effect on the GFR calculation is assessed. Recommendations are made aiming to reduce the associated errors and achieve greater consistency and reproducibility of the Gates' estimate of GFR
