Functional paint composition and manufacturing method for the same

PURPOSE: A functional paint composition is provided to have excellent water resistance, staining resistance, fire retardancy, and solution stability, and low viscosity, thereby having excellent workability. CONSTITUTION: A functional paint composition, which is as a water glass paint compostion, comprises 100.0 parts by weight of water glass, a silane compound or water solution thereof, of which weight ratio of 5-30 parts by weight of a silane compound and water is 1:8 or less, and a silica aqueous solution of which weight ratio of silica and water is 1:1-8. The water glass composition additionally comprises 2-12 parts by weight of boric acid compound aqueous solution of which weight ratio with water is 1:0.5-10.
