Experimental study on the adjustment of the blood Cholinesterase activity

Objective To observe the relationship among the blood-cholinesterase (bl-ChE), erythrocytes-cholinesterase (e-ChE) and plasma cholinesterase (p-ChE) in healthy adults, and to adjust the value of the cholinesterase activity. Methods The bl-ChE, e-ChE, p-ChE were measured according to the national standard GB7794-87 trichloriron colormetric analysis method. Results High parallel relationships were shown between the e-ChE and the bl-ChE, r= 0.963, P 0.000 1. The e-ChE accounts for 84.06% steadily. Conclusion Using the RBC value to rectify the activity value of cholinesterase might eliminate the discrepancy between man and woman, and reduce the discrepancy of measured value in the throng.
