Future/Research in Magnetic Surgery

Concerning future research in magnetic surgery, the efforts will concentrate on shapes, forces, designs, and delivery systems. Each specialized magnet for specific purposes is being developed, and as seen from the previous literature, the magnets for vascular anastomosis are totally different from those of biliary applications or gastrointestinal and colorectal applications. Further, even in various places of the digestive systems, the magnets will vary in size, shapes and force depending on the tissues where they are applied.
