TERAHERTZ TRANSMISSION IN Tl_2Ba_2CaCu_2O_8 HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING FILMS

We designed and fabricated several different periodic sub-wavelength structures on Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8 high-temperature superconducting films.They are characterized using THz time domain spectroscopy over a temperature range from 8 K to room temperature.Below the superconducting transition temperature,a drastic change can be observed,indicating an increase of resonant properties for the sample with the rectangular hole array and ELC resonators.
