The Anti-inflammatory and Analgesic Effects of Xiao Jin Dispensible Tablet

Objective To investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Xiao Jin Dispersible Tablet. Methods Anti-inflammatory effects were studied by the models of paw edema induced by carrageen in rats and ear swelling induced by xylene in mice.The pain models were established by acetic acid and hot plate in mice. Results The drug with the middle dose could obviously inhibit the ear swelling induced by xylene in mice and had significant difference with the control group(P 0.05),decrease the paw edema induced by carrageen 2 h and 4 h after administering the middle dose and had significant difference with the control group(P 0.05).The drugs 4 h after administering with the high dose had extremely significant difference with the control group(P 0.01).The drug after administering the middle and high doses could decrease the times of writhing response and had significant difference with the control group(P0.05;P 0.01).The drug 1 h after administering the high dose could increase the threshold value of pain and had significant difference with the control group(P 0.05),but after administering the high and middle dose 2 h could increase the threshold value of pain and had signifreant diffeicnce with the control group(P0.01;P 0.05) Conclusion XiaoJin Dispersible Tablet has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
