Power expansion preparation with no storage for solar plants

2021
Abstract New power systems are now composed of large scale and highly complex interconnected generation systems, so generation expansion planning is now a big problem for optimising power systems. The GEP issue is a large scale, complex and nonlinear mixed integer combinatorial problem where the number of candidate solutions to be tested increases exponentially with the size if the system. In order to plan power systems both economically and effectively an accurate solution in GEP problem is necessary. Therefore, when solving each issues, applied optimization methods should be sufficiently efficient. A variety of computer techniques to solve this efficiency problem have been proposed in recent years. The wide range of problems with optimization of the electrical power system. DEA procedures have gained considerable attention from researches in recent years, as such procedures have been found to be extremely efficient in solving problems with power system optimization. The GEP issues with and without the use of the solar power, the results are compared.
