Degradation and influence factors of ammonium butyl aerofloat in paddy soil

Degradation and influence factors of ammonium butyl aerofloat in paddy soil were investigated by indoor simulation test.The results showed that degradation rates of ammonium butyl aerofloat in paddy soil decreased with increasing initial concentrations,with their half-life periods all shorter than 4 days.Degradation rate of ammonium butyl aerofloat in paddy soil improved significantly with increasing soil moisture.Maximum degradation rate(84%) was obtained on the 7th day under the conditions of 60% moisture and 25 ℃ temperature.The main degradation mechanism of ammonium butyl aerofloat in paddy soil was microbial degradation(approximately 80%) and photo-degradation(approximately 20%).
