Laser-based display technology development at the Naval Ocean Systems Center (NOSC)

Abstract : For several years, the Naval Ocean Systems Center (NOSC) has been working on the development of laser-based display systems with the goal of upgrading the image quality and ruggedness of shipboard displays. In this paper we report work on our major task of developing a full-color laser-addressed liquid crystal light value (LCLV) projection system.
