The effect of nitrogen-containing oxidizers on the iron-dissolution rate in acid sulfate electrolytes

The effect of the oxidizer concentration, electrode potential, electrolyte acidity and stirring intensity on the iron-dissolution rate in the presence of nitrites and nitrates was studied. A possible mechanism for the accelerating action of oxidizers on metal dissolution was considered.
