Effect of Different Infiltration Methods of Micro-media on Shielding Effectiveness of Electromagnetic Shielding Fabrics

2019
At present, the influence of different infiltration methods of micro-media in electromagnetic shielding fabric on its shielding effectiveness is not clear. In order to improve the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the fabric, The shielding effectiveness test of the electromagnetic shielding fabric was tested by two different infiltration methods: full penetration method and coating method. This paper uses the flange coaxial method for experimental sample testing. Group experiments were carried out on carbon nanotubes, graphene and ferrite micromedia with a content of 15% In the frequency band is 1–18 GHz. The experimental data was analyzed by Origin software. The results show that the shielding effectiveness value of the full penetration mode is better than the shielding effectiveness value of the coating method. In the total infiltration experiment, carbon nanotubes with a content of 15% showed a peak at about 53dB in the low frequency phase. In the same mode of infiltration into the micro-media experiment, the experimental sample obtained by the full infiltration method, in the middle and high frequency stage, the shielding effectiveness value is relatively flat. In the coating method experiment, the shielding effectiveness of 15% graphene and 15% ferrite was similar. This paper initially reveals the influence of the infiltration method on the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding fabrics, and has important academic significance for the design, production and evaluation of high performance electromagnetic shielding fabrics.
