Study on Durability and Secondary Reinforcement Technique of Prestressed Anchorage Structures

Based on the analysis of corrosion data of prestressed anchorage structures that have been in operation for four to five years in situ, the regular appearance of anchorage structures subject to corrosion was discussed. The appearance is of£¢tristage£¢ and has obvious stress nonuniformity,and the primary factor that have great influence upon the corrosion of anchorage structures is the water containing corrosion medium. The conception of corrosion weight per unit length was introduced to analyze the service life of cables in outer anchorage head. The actual service life of single prestressed anchorage cables in wet environment is only about sixteen years. Some factors that influence the durability of the anchorage structure were analyzed in detail, and some anticormsive measures were also brought forward. Finally, based on the test conclusions of field, the secondary reinforcement technique of prestressed anchorage structures was put forward, which can provide references for second strengthening of critical destabilization anchorage structures.
