Arthroscopic technique progress, microarthroscopy, needle arthroscopy have allowed the development of a significant role also in rheumatology for diagnostic, research and therapeutic purpose.The articular involvement is a frequent event in rheumatic diseases. Arthroscopy allow direct inspection of synovium and cartilage and represent the gold standard for the assessment of articular anatomical structures. We report the observations and therapeutic applications of our experience during 10 years activity
