Arthroscopy role in diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic articular diseases: our ten years experience

Arthroscopic technique progress, microarthroscopy, needle arthroscopy have allowed the development of a significant role also in rheumatology for diagnostic, research and therapeutic purpose.The articular involvement is a frequent event in rheumatic diseases. Arthroscopy allow direct inspection of synovium and cartilage and represent the gold standard for the assessment of articular anatomical structures.
