TPV Modules Based On GaSb Structures

Two different GaSb‐based PV cell structures have been investigated for application in a TPV generator system: a simple Zn‐diffused pn‐junction and a more sophisticated MOVPE‐grown structure. Results on both of these cell types are discussed in this paper. Modules incorporating the MOVPE‐grown GaSb cells have been fabricated. Characteristic parameters of these modules are presented.
