Study on GNSS-based detection technology of bistatic radar reflection signals of small satellites

Because small satellites have characteristics of small size, light weight, low power consumption, low cost, all-time, all-weather uniform global coverage of large amounts of data, the GNSS-based reflection signal bistatic radar detection technology of small satellites is becoming a hot research. According to the characteristics of GNSS signals, the reflected signal to the target spacecraft is analyzed theoretically, and the small satellites cylinder model which can react the characteristics of the target spacecraft is established. Through the analysis of simulation results, the validity of the model is verified, but also it provides a basis for optimum design of GNSS-R relative navigation system.
