QUALIDADE DA INFORMAÇÃO EM WEBSITES DE SAÚDE: UM OLHAR PARA A FISIOTERAPIA: UM OLHAR PARA A FISIOTERAPIA

The access to information made possible by the Internet, is currently an important source ofdissemination of knowledge. How often do we access the internet daily? What information do we seek,and what is the quantity and quality of the answers we find? However, in the case of health, the qualityof the information available for access must be considered. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate theinformation quality on health websites that present information on respiratory physiotherapy. For this,the authors assumed the role of specialists in information quality. Using a questionnaire of threedimensions (Content, Design and Technique), elaborated based on previous studies, evaluated theinformation quality of websites that bring information on the theme "respiratory physiotherapy". In theend, it was verified, among other aspects, that there is a deficiency in the sites in relation to thecredibility of the content made available, the authors and their credentials are not presented, as thetexts do not use links for content targeting and do not present the references bibliographies consulted.
