High Specific Surface Area in Nanometric Carbonated Hydroxyapatite

The synthesis of a mineral nanocrystalline and nanometric carbonated hydroxyapatite with a very high specific surface area, similar to the biological apatite, is reported. A precipitation method that allows us to obtain a massive amount in a short time was used.
