Individuals with multiple sclerosis who participate in a 6-week group exercise programme “show an improvement in their quality of life and fatigue”

2011
Background Neurorehabilitation exercise programmes designed for individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS) are usually carried out in gyms with specific facilities and expensive equipment. However, little is known about the effects of other training programmes which do not need special equipment. This pilot study aimed to determine whether patients suffering from MS show an improved quality of life (QoL) and diminished level of fatigue perception after participating in a group-based callisthenic exercise programme.
