Intestinal stenosis is one of the most frequent complications of the Crohn’s disease (CD). It can appear due to the evolution of the disease (stenosing pattern) or secondary to a previous surgical intervention. The stenosis can cause occlusive symptoms which require surgery in case of an unsuccessful medical treatment. Endoscopic balloon dilation is an effective therapeutic alternative with a low rate of complications
