Fast neutron capture in rhenium

Abstract Using an activation method, the neutron capture cross section of 185 Re and 187 Re, and the cross section for the production of the 18·7-min state of 188 Re have been measured as a function of neutron energy between 4 keV and 2·6 MeV.
