Vigilância sanitária: aliada na construção de um espaço de trabalho seguro

2016
The Health Surveillance Project (VISA Project) started in May/2006, after inspections carried out by the Health Surveillance-North Region at the HC areas, pointing out non-compliances. From that moment until nowadays, the current has been acting to correct distortions in the processes regarding assistance, hygiene and building structure, acknowledging the Health Surveillance's role in offering an external view on the health assistance conditions and contributing with improvement notes (1). General purpose: keeping the HD within health principles defined by the Health Surveillance and by the Hospital Infection Control Committee (CCIH)/HC. Method: the work was carried out at HD/HC/UNICAMP, which is a patient non-hospitalization unit. The executors were nurses, nursing and administrative technicians and the Nursing Department/HC (DENF) advisor. 13 inspections were carried out between 2011-2016, since the VISA spreadsheet implementation. The non-compliance events were categorized: "Nursing/Processes", "Structure" and "Cleaning". Results: Service orders were sent to the Engineering Division/HC for structure corrections and training to cleaning and nursing teams. The average on approval percents were: 88.2% for "Nursing/Process", 91.6% for "Structure" and 79.7% for "Cleaning". Discussion: the literature proposes to conceptualize as "Excellent" for approval between 90-100% of the items; "Good" between 70-89%; "Regular" between 50-69% and "Bad" less than 40% (2). The managerial tool "PDSA" was used (3). Conclusions: the information show that the inspection process has ensured a permanent area and process assessment, keeping them with concept "Good" and "Excellent". The respect among services and professionals was essential, and the DENF was an enabler to prepare the indexes. The General Services Division/HC (responsible for outsourced cleaning agreement) and the Engineering Division/HC have acted as partners in the correct cleaning performance and to preserve the public property.
