A rare cause of acute abdomen due to primary omental torsion: Value of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment

Background Primary omental torsion is a rare cause of acute abdomen and is almost never diagnosed clinically. Laparoscopic management of this condition has been infrequently reported in the literature. Herein, we present a series of patients with omental torsion that presented as acute abdomen treated laparoscopically.
