ACTUALITÉS THÉRAPEUTIQUES DANS LE MYÉLOME MULTIPLE

The advances realised over the last 20 years in the treatment of multiple myeloma with the intensive procedures, the autograft and best dealt with of the complications, allowed certainly an improvement of the quality of life of the patients and a prolongation of survival 5 or 6 years, but however did not bring the cure. The comprehension of the physiopathological mechanisms of this disease and the development of the techniques of molecular biology and genic therapy, are at the basis of discovered new molecules (thalidomide and analogues, inhibitors of the proteasome, immunotherapy...), which currently represent the one new therapeutic era hope in the assumption of responsibility of the disease of Kahler.
