Analysis on current situation and influencing factors of complications in partial rural pregnant women in Hubei province

Objective: To explore the current situation and influencing factors of complications in partial rural pregnant women in Hubei province.Methods: Random sampling method was used to survey 1 524 pregnant women in rural areas of Huanggang city,Shiyan city,and Hanchuan city by a questionnaire,univariate analysis was used to analyze multiple variables.Results: In the samples consisted of 1 524 pregnant women,the incidence of gestational complications was 14.63%.The top three high risk factors were anemia,hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(HDCP),and liver diseases successively.Four variables(including delivery place,delivery age,maternal character,and receiving prenatal examination or not) were closely related to the occurrence of gestational complications,which might increase the incidence of gestational complications.There was no statistically significant difference in the other factors.Conclusion: The key measures to promote maternal health care,ensure maternal and infantile safety,reduce gestational complications include enhancing tertiary care network,strengthening health propaganda and education during gestational period,improving the times and quality of prenatal examination,strengthening screening of high risk pregnancy,and promoting hospital delivery.
