An antibody or fragment antigen binding thereof which binds to a protein C5 component of human complement for use in: (i) treating a patient afflicted with Degos disease or (ii) decrease the severity of one or more disease symptoms in a patient Degos wherein Degos disease is systemic, multiorgan Degos disease.
