The invention discloses an inner barrel hanging piece for a cement preheater. The hanging piece is in a centrosymmetric S-shape, and an upper half part of the hanging piece comprises an upper arm extending slantwise and upwards and a first hook extending from a top end of the upper arm toward one side of the hanging piece and open downwards; a lower half part of the hanging piece comprises a lower arm arranged centrosymmetrically with the upper arm, and a second hook extending from a bottom end of the lower arm toward the other side of the hanging piece and open upwards; the first hook and the second hook are centrosymmetric about a symmetric center of the upper arm and the lower arm; a first trapezoidal wind shield extends upwards from the top of the first hook of the hanging piece, while a second trapezoidal wind shield extends downwards from the bottom of the second hook of the hanging piece; the shapes of the first trapezoidal wind shield and the second trapezoidal wind shield are matched with the spatial shapes of the side surfaces of the upper arm and the lower arm.
