Effect of Two Male-Inducing Reagents on Protective Enzyme Activity in Cucumber

The results showed that the activity of peroxidase and catalase was increased of shoot tips in gynocious lines h154,h151 and the normal line h002 by the treatments with AgNO_3 and Ag_2S_2O_3.The maximum increment of peroxidase were 164.4%,133.5%,241.5% and 23.1%,16.5%,57.2% after 48 h by treated,the maximum increment of catalase were 91.3%,95.7%,113.5% and 69.6%,64.3%,82.4% after 48 h by treated.The superoxide dismutase activity was decreased first and then increased by AgNO_3 treatment,the maximum increment of superoxide dismutase were 75.3%,65.2%,30.7% and 27.2%,36.9%,16.2% after 120 h by treated.
