Skeletal Muscle Involvement in Six Cases of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma of the Head and Neck Region
2005
Abstract Extra-nodal involvement of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is well described. Skeletal muscle involvement is rare with the muscles of the extremities being most commonly affected. We present a series of six patients that have attended our Joint Head and Neck Ultrasound and Cytopathology clinic. In these cases, skeletal muscle involvement by NHL was demonstrated in the head and neck region. The ultrasound findings in these cases are presented and discussed.
