IntroduA§A£o e objetivo: Atualmente vivemos uma transiA§A£o nutricional caracterizada pelo aumento de casos de excesso de peso. Nesse aspecto, uma atuaA§A£o interdisciplinar pode auxiliar na escolha de aA§Aµes adequadas para a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos indivA­duos. O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o risco relativo de variAiveis socioeconA´micas, antropomA©tricas e bioquA­micas sobre o estado nutricional de adolescentes. Materiais e mA©todos: Participaram da pesquisa 554 adolescentes de ambos os gAaneros, com idades entre 10 e 18 anos. Peso, altura e circunferAancia da cintura (CC) foram aferidos para posteriormente realizar os cAilculos do Andice de Massa Corporal (IMC), a RazA£o Cintura Estatura (RCE) e o percentual de gordura corporal (% GC). Ocorreu tambA©m a mensuraA§A£o da pressA£o arterial (PA) e coleta sanguA­nea para determinaA§A£o do colesterol total, High-density lipoprotein (HDL) e Low-density lipoprotein (LDL), trigilicerA­deos (TG) e glicose. AlA©m da anAilise da classificaA§A£o socioeconA´mica da famA­lia do adolescente. Os dados foram avaliados por meio de anAilise de regressA£o, utilizando-se o Software Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), versA£o 23.0. Foi considerado um nA­vel de significA¢ncia de 5% (p<0,05). Resultados e discussA£o: Dos adolescentes avaliados, 57,4% (318) do sexo feminino e 42,6% (236) do sexo masculino. A maioria dos adolescentes apresentou eutrofia, contudo houve uma elevada frequAancia de excesso de peso para o sexo masculino (24,2%) e para o sexo feminino (24,5%). Os achados de risco para obesidade/excesso de peso em adolescentes foram, CC elevada (OR: 13,37), RCE elevada (OR: 22,23), % GC elevada (OR: 9,88). ConclusA£o: Conclui-se que existe associaA§A£o do estado nutricional de adolescentes com fatores antropomA©tricos. ABSTRACT Prevalence of anthropometric and biochemical factors on the nutritional status of adolescentsIntroduction and objective: We currently live a nutritional transition characterized by an increase in cases of overweight. In this aspect, an interdisciplinary action can help in choosing appropriate actions to improve the quality of life of individuals. The objective of the study was to evaluate the relative risk of socioeconomic, anthropometric and biochemical variables on the nutritional status of adolescents. Materials and methods: Fifty-four adolescents of both genders, aged between 10 and 18, participated in the study. Weight, height and waist circumference (WC) were measured for later calculations of Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Stature Ratio (RCE) and Body Fat Percentage (% GC). Blood pressure (BP) and blood collection for determination of total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides (TG) and glucose were also measured. Besides the analysis of the socioeconomic classification of the adolescent family. The data were evaluated by means of regression analysis, using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), version 23.0. A significance level of 5% (p <0.05) was considered. Results and discussion: Of the adolescents evaluated, 57.4% (318) were female and 42.6% (236) were male. The majority of adolescents presented eutrophy, but there was a high frequency of overweight for males (24.2%) and females (24.5%). The risk of obesity / overweight in adolescents was high CR (OR: 13.37), elevated CRF (OR: 22.23), high CR% (OR: 9.88). Conclusion: It is concluded that there is association of the nutritional status of adolescents with anthropometric factors.
