Clinical significance of plasma lipoprotein (a) and C-reactive protein level in cerebral infarction patients

2008
Objective To investigate the function and clinical significances of the concentration of the plasma lipoprotein(a) and C-reactive protein in cerebral infarction. Methods The concentration of the plasma C-reactive protein was measured by Beckkman specific protein analyzer, while the concentration of the plasma lipids protein and lipoprotein(a) concentrations was measured by Beckman automated biochemical analyzer,30 normal people were analysed in contrast to the patients. Results That serum lipoprotein (a)and C-reactive protein concentrations have a significant difference between normal group (P < 0.01), also the level of lipoprotein (a)have a positive correlation with C-reactive protein(γ=0.710,P<0.01). Conclusion ①Serum lipoprotein(a) is the main correlated factor of C-reactive protein;②The increase of plasma lipoprotein(a) and C-reactive protein level is an risk factor for cerebral infarction patients. Key words: Cerebral infarction; Lipoprotein(a); C-reactive protein
