Progress in diagnosis and treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is defined as a transient sense of illusory motion reduced by changes in particular head position, which is the common peripheral vertigo disease.In recent years, the domestic and international research on BPPV is deepening, and the clinical medical workers are more and more familiar with the disease. This article systematically reviews the development of the pathological basis, treatment method and the relevant issues after treatment.
