Частота мутации гена braf в папиллярном раке щитовидной железы у взрослых

In work the frequency of BRAF gene mutation in papillary thyroid cancer was determined and the correlation of the given molecular event with clinical and morphological parameters of patients was investigated. The study group included 76 patients with papillary thyroid carcinomas. The average age at diagnosis was 37,2 ± 10,9 yr. BRAF mutation was identified in 22 (44,9 %) cases. It was age of patients alone that proved to be consistently associated with BRAF mutations (ρ=0,524; Pρ=0,0001). No correlation between mutation and other clinico-pathological features was established.
