Stability analysis of long anchor cable reinforcement for stope roof in upward horizontal cut and fill stoping method

2011
According to the characteristics of long anchor cable reinforcement for stope roof in upward horizontal cut and fill stoping method in No.5 orebody of Xincheng gold mine, a three-dimensional numerical model of stope mining is established with FLAC 3D numerical analysis software to simulate the process of stope mining and long anchor cable roof reinforcing. The stability contrast of primary stope and secondary stope are analysed under conditions of both reinforcement and non-reinforcement. The results based on the numerical simulation calculation, is that reinforcement effect of long anchor cable is significantly, and strengthening effect in secondary stope is better than that in primary stope. In addition, with the development of excavation height, shear stresses and axial forces of anchor cable increase gradually, although the length of long anchor cable become short because of being truncated. Meanwhile, sum of shear stresses of anchor cable in positive and negative area is zero, which indicates that fully cement-imbedded long anchor cable is balance body itself in stope roof.
