Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy—a novel method for detection of gaseous free radicals

2005
Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is a new technique based on femto-second laser technology. It has shown important applicability in researches of different fields, such as condensed matter, gas-phase, and biochemistry, etc. The characteristic spectra of substances in THz range may provide important information of configuration, constitutes and the molecular interactions. This paper briefly introduces its applications in detecting and identifying gaseous free radicals.
