Korzystny wynik niezgodnej ze wskazaniami implantacji stentu modulującego przepływ krwi w tętniaku mykotycznym u 60-letniej kobiety

This article presents a case of a 60-year-old woman with an infected abdominal aortic aneurysm in whom, in the lack of other treatment options, an uncovered multilayer flow modulator (MFM) was implanted. The procedure went without any complications and the patient felt comfortable in a three-year outpatient follow-up. As far as we know, this is the first report of a beneficial result of a stent implantation of the MFM type in a mycotic aortic aneurysm that does not comply with the indication for use (IFU).
