Rectal Mucinous Adenocarcinoma: MR Imaging Assessment of Response to Concurrent Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy—A Hypothesis-generating Study

The authors of this study compared the pre– and post–concurrent chemotherapy and radiation therapy MR images of patients with rectal mucinous adenocarcinoma by using a dedicated MR imaging tumor regression grade assessment system and demonstrated that the MR imaging tumor regression grade was associated with pathologic responsiveness to treatment.
