Adsorption of Catecholamines on a Nanocrystalline Titanium Dioxide Surface

2021
Adsorption of some catecholamines from aqueous solutions on a titanium dioxide surface has been studied as depending on pH and sorbent concentration. The experimental data have been interpreted in terms of the surface complexation theory. Stability constants have been calculated for the inner-sphere covalent complexes resulting from the interaction of hydroxyl groups of catecholamines with functional groups of titanium dioxide.
